Advanced Printing sits at 10330 Yonge St #1, right in the heart of Richmond Hill. It isn't a big-box copy counter — it's a working shop with a laser engraver, industrial embroidery machines, and 3D printers running behind the front desk. What comes out the door is made a few feet from where you order it.
Every job — a single box of business cards or a 100-unit uniform run — comes off the same floor, built by the same people who answer the phone.
Why appointment-only
Yonge St retail space is expensive. Most shops answer that by keeping a counter staffed for walk-in photocopies and hoping enough foot traffic covers the rent. We answer it differently: we don't idle a technician waiting for someone to wander in for a single-page copy. Every hour on the schedule is booked in advance and reserved for one customer and one project.
That's the trade we're making on purpose. Book a time, and for that slot you get a real technician — not a queue number — who sits with you, looks at your file or material, and understands the machine that's about to run it. It's slower to walk past, faster to actually get served, and it's why the finished work comes out right the first time instead of getting redone.
Real machines, real craft
The laser engraver and cutter runs wood, metal, and plastic — business cards, restaurant menus, and one-off signage, each file set up and cut to order. The 3D printers don't quote off a guess: upload an STL and the shop measures the actual geometry — volume, wall thickness, print time — before pricing it by machine hour and material grams, whether that's PLA, PETG, or ABS.
The embroidery side runs the shop's highest-margin work: uniforms, hoodies, t-shirts, polos, and towels, stitched on industrial machines built for repeat runs, not one-off craft projects.

The Premium Overseas Fabric program taps Hugo Boss-tier factories for apparel that needs a level up from in-house silk-screen and embroidery — it starts with a $500 consultation, a 100-unit minimum, and the factory's own designers working the first sample with you before anything is committed to production.
Separately, the China sourcing network handles custom bulk product runs outside the shop's in-house capabilities — consultation-led, deposit required, quoted individually. No instant number, because no two runs are the same.
